I think they are FAB. Just won tickets to thier concert June 1st so I\'m sooo psyced!
I THINK IS ONE OF THE BEST BAND EVER, IS AMAZING AND MICHAEL WAS A SHOWMAN, IS MY FAVORITE BAND, I HOPE THE BEST FOR THEM NOW WITH THE NEW SINGER
INXS is amazing and their live concerts are spectacular. I wish them all the best with their new singer. They deserve it!
INXS to me is the most influentual band in the industry. Not only have INXS jumped back from such a traumtic ordeal with Michael Hutchences death but by using Rockstar INXS they fdound JD Fortune the perfect suitor for what they were looking for. As a 15 year old that stole my parents INXS records as i was so in love with them, for there to be a new generation of INXS for me to enjoy is just so great. Keep up the good work INXS you guys r so fantsatic, i just wish i was allowed to come c u in concert. That would b one hell of an experience. JD u r gorgeous!
I've been a die-hard INXS fan ever since they came out with "Original Sin." Whenever they had a new album out, I'd hurry to get it. They were a band I could count on. I always knew I loved wh*t*ver they turned out. When I'd heard that Michael Hutchence had died, I was devastated...it was a few day before my birthday at that! I cried my eyes out, and even kept the receipt of the INXS album I'd just bought, a few days before he died, because I'd got it when he was still living. It was even hard for me to watch "Rockstar INXS" all the way through, because it made me nostalgic for Michael Hutchence. I never thought they'd find another singer who could fill his very big shoes...but when I saw JD Fortune during the finale...he sent shivers up my spine! Although a great rocker in his own right, I felt that at times, he was channeling Michael Hutchence somehow...with that same slithery, snakey, sensuality, and a voice that won't quit. I was fortunate enough to catch the INXS concert here, last Aug. 15, 2006, here in the Philippines. I'm still reeling from it. It was one of the best experiences of my whole life. I'm so thrilled I even got JD to look at me, in the upper box. I was clapping over my head, and he was relating to the audience members close to him...but for a moment he looked up, and clapped over his head, just to acknowledge me. I was so excited, saying to my best friend beside me, "That was for ME!" JD is such a great performer...he had some little funny antics, i.e. wiping his face on Andrew Farris' shirt when they lined up for their last bow. And during the show, he kept going near the audience, really playing to them, shaking hands with them at almost every opportunity. He also flung his cap, glow sticks...so many little souvenirs into the audience. That was very kind of him. They even did three numbers for the encore. :) JD even said "I don't want anybody to be disappointed." At one point, after the second song, during the encore, I believe, Gary Beers was about to leave the stage, and JD yanked him back by his shirt. That was really funny. I'm not sure if it was part of the act. After the second encore song, the boys went into a huddle, probably deciding what song to do last. I was actually very surprised, and delighted, that they did three encore songs. I believe this is the first time I've experienced this. :) I believe this shows how much JD realizes his great fortune (funny how his surname was prophetic) and is so very generous, wanting to give so much back to his fans. Anyway, I'm so glad I finally got to see INXS live...though I wished I'd also got to see them when Michael Hutchence was still around. Re: JD, he is a most worthy successor...he is perfect to carry on the legend that is INXS. Hats off to INXS for their impeccable taste. No one but JD could carry on their illustrious tradition. Rock on INXS! :) Geraldine O. Tan([email])
